Disconnect Meta Ads

A clinic owner can stop Oben's advertising access at any time under Settings → Integrations → Connectors → Meta Ads → Disconnect. This immediately disables the tenant connection and all Meta Ads writes in Oben, attempts to revoke the Meta authorization, and removes the bearer credential from Oben's active tenant secret path.

Disconnect WhatsApp

A clinic owner or authorized manager can stop sending from a connected number under Settings → Integrations → Connectors → WhatsApp → Connected numbers → Disconnect. This immediately marks that number disconnected in Oben so new sends fail closed. It does not erase existing clinic message records or rotate Oben's deployment-level credential. If the clinic also wants the Oben app removed from the WhatsApp Business Account, include the WABA and phone-number identifiers in the deletion request without including tokens or message bodies; Oben will verify authority and coordinate the provider-side unsubscribe.

Request deletion

After disconnecting, email pilot@oben.care from the clinic owner's authorized address with the clinic name and the subject “Meta data deletion request.” State whether the request concerns Meta Ads, WhatsApp, or both. Do not include patient information, message content, access tokens, app secrets, verification codes, or other credentials.

We will verify the requester's authority, confirm the scope, delete or de-identify eligible connected-account metadata, aggregate advertising data, WhatsApp configuration, templates, and eligible message records, and respond when the request is complete. Records that must be retained for security, audit, fraud prevention, continuity of the clinic record, legal, or contractual reasons remain access-restricted until their required retention period ends.

Remove Oben in Meta

The authorizing Meta user can also remove Oben from Meta's Business Integrations or WhatsApp Business settings, as applicable. Removing it there stops future provider access but does not replace a deletion request for data already retained by Oben.
